The practitioners in China also apply acupuncture as an adjunct to ease many of the medical problems that people consult their doctors for, from personal injuries to depression to stroke rehabilitation.

In addition, acupuncture or traditional Chinese medicine or the combination of both may be able to help people with chronic conditions to improve their quality of life.
